With the shocking news of the Swedish Fashion Council cancelling this year’s Stockholm Fashion Week, Copenhagen is aspiring to be the biggest fashion week in Scandinavia.
Even though we admire Swedes for the bold step they took in order to push the industry towards the more sustainable and environmentally friendly approach, we are happy to see Copenhagen looking Scandi cool. As usual, Danish street stylers inspire us to get the courage to be the best dressed ones in the room.

MICRO BAGS
One of the most curious trends of Copenhagen Fashion Week’20 street style are the fun and playful XXS bags that mostly resemble toys from our childhoods. As they are barely big enough to hold more than your lipstick, you should treat them as a cute lipstick holder and find a friend that is willing to carry your phone and keys!
HEADBANDS
Another favorite from our childhood is the voluminous headband. First, they captured the catwalks and after they moved to the street style chronicles. The influencers who eventually got tired of playing around with simple headbands, later experimented with patterned shawls, summer hats and panamas.
SUIT UP!
The girls of Copenhagen know all there is to know about layering. Get inspired by the way they wear a jacket on a chilly day. Mix this piece from your office wardrobe with your vacation dress to create a relaxed version of workwear look. And if summer weather is just too much for the jacket, combine a pair of loose pants with fashionable crop top and you are good to go.
KITTEN HEELS
Scandinavian girls have been wearing kitten heels for a while now, and they keep reminding us about the comfort that can be found from this practical type of shoe. Due to their great stability, small heeled mules can romanticize any business outfit. But be careful, heals are heals, so in order to pull off this trend, you have to look for THE one pair of kitten heels.
SHINE!
Small and large sparkles are in the spotlight – DISCO is back, baby! Wear your sequin top with any basic pants, and turn every day into a glitter party. And if you are feeling like it is your day, do not hesitate to wear all-glitter look. Because why not? If the front row fashionistas can wear it, you can wear it too.
