Fall Calling - Form meets function
Colourful leaves, cool breezes and lazy sunshine – all indicators of the most beautiful season. Fall is calling! November is the last chance to enjoy the magnificent autumn features, hence, to create this lookbook – we decided to homage to the last rays of sunshine gracing our skin and the light breeze that plays with our hair. While getting enveloped in the warm colours of the season, we chose to visualize an elegant, modern clean look with ever classic pieces whose function is in perfect harmony with its shape.
When creating clothes, Jan Machenhauer’s main inspiration is found in the everyday woman. As you may have read in our interview with him, he designs garments for everyday life that not only look gorgeous, but also have an aspect of functionality. His secret is to carefully choose materials, pay special attention to details and emphasise the importance in making the wearer comfortable in a perfectly fit garment.
