Who said that wearing head-to-toe black is boring? Or that we can’t wear light shades during fall? In this Playful Complements photo shoot, we combined knits with lightweight textures – tight fits with loose cuts. We set out to prove that piecing together controversial garments is cool.
Strict elegance
The first outfits worn by Betty and Adam exemplify how to spice up a tight-loose combination of clothing. It’s worth playing with the textures – the close-fitting black sheer top on Betty accentuates her feminine figure while the skin-tight black turtleneck top on Adam perfectly complements the elegance of his high-waisted trousers.
Bohemian weekends
As we demonstrated in our End of September lookbook, light colours look great on both men and women. The loose white linen shirt and the high-waisted dark beige trousers Adam wears make a light-hearted switch with Betty’s snow-white trousers and the off-white knitted sweater. These outfits remind us of those idyllic bohemian moments, sitting on the terrace on a silent day with a newspaper and coffee in hand.
Thank you to COS for the clothing!
