In every adult’s soul resides an inner child. Children can laugh without fear of the future and see the good in everything around them. They haven’t lost their trust yet. If people would let their child soul outbreak and would nurture it, their gray and fast-changing day-to-day life wouldn’t be filled with immense sadness. Making some changes, they would be able to see the world from another point of view and others would treat them in a different way.
Our Nostalgic Spring photoshoot was inspired by the childhood nostalgia and by the playful adulthood.
You cannot feel the four traditional seasons anymore. Slowly, spring becomes just a nostalgia. After the long and cold days, we feel relieved to see the nature reviving.
The soft pastel hues are fresh, so we tried to recreate this atmosphere with flowers. Feeling nostalgic just comes hand in hand with spring season.
The sleek outfits evoke the wardrobe of an adult, mature woman, though we tried to call up details of the inner child. Tami is wearing a COS set with a white shirt and with minimalist earrings, which result in a serious classic outfit. Although, the apron dress with its pleats lends a girlish chicness. The contrast between the Hodina watch and the bag enhances the outfit’s soft colors and lines. This time the color blast is provided by the newest Kinfolk magazine.
Adél’s outfit brings around the warmer months. The Nanushka pieces, which are light-colored, can prove to be the best choice on the cold summer days, either for day- or nightwear. Similarly to Tami’s outfit, we attempted to recollect some childhood memories.: Adél’s girlish ringlets and the patches that are sewn on the pants give a childish tone. The two outfits are related between themselves with the Mama Kin earrings: one abstract and another one dainty. We tried to counteract the bright colors with dark accessories: Vincze Bori’s shoulder bag and the Dyan shoes are designed for one another. The 90’s sunglasses is what put the icing on the cake.
